At Nurtur Salon + Spa, philanthropy is deeply important to us. We give back locally and globally through many different programs, including Tip For A Cause, Breast Cancer Awareness, Earth Month, and Fashion Week Columbus. ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Environmental commitment is a priority for us here at Nurtur. We believe that every action or inaction we make creates a ripple effect in our communities and in our world, and that starts with how we treat the Earth we live on. The Aveda products we use in your services and sell on our retail shelves are thoughtfully sourced sustainably and made all natural. Each year we turn Earth Day into Earth Season, a three-month-long fundraiser and education platform that begins every March. In the past, we’ve volunteered to clean streams, and have given back to Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Camp Oty’Okwa, their summer sustainability camp. We’ve raised funds for the Sierra Club and constantly look for new, innovative ways to reduce waste in the salon. Environmentalism play a large role in how we operate and who we are. Thanks for being a part of the greater mission on saving our planet and reducing our carbon footprint.
HAIR DONATION
Our stylists are trained in how to properly cut hair for a donation, leaving you no need to worry about managing the process yourself. We’ve got you covered!
Interested in making a hair donation? We are happy to work with any hair donation organization. It’s up to you- please look up requirements from your preferred organization’s website and come in prepared with the following:
- Hair donation minimum length
- Virgin hair or hair that fits under your hair donation organization’s regulations

TIP FOR A CAUSE
It’s all about giving back to sustain our local community. Each month, Nurtur partners with a local organizations for our Tip for a Cause program. Our guests have the option to leave a tip for our Tip for a Cause in addition to leaving gratuity for their professional. Our staff also contributes to the Tip for a Cause program.
